digital audio workstations
In 2021, I designed a brochure analyzing Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs), their popularity by brand, and their individual use cases. I also created infographics to display the data points in the article. The infographics (shown below) are laid out across two pages which mimic the design and layout of Ableton Live. The bottom left infographic compares the price of five DAW programs and outlines their basic features while the top left infographic shows personal use versus professional use for each program.
The top right infographic shows the price of each DAW program for personal versus professional use, as different packages offer different features. The bottom left infographic focusses on Google Trends search term interest for each software program, evidencing users’ interest in each program. This graphic also shows the top five states these terms were searched in. The article itself is laid out over four pages and uses icons and imagery from the infographic spread to accent the text. I enjoyed working on this project and creating infographics about a topic I am interested in.
