The Constitutional Right to Bear Arms Has Outlived Its Usefullness: A Debate is an illustrated book that typesets an IntelligenceSquared debate about the Second Amendment. All of the text in the book is taken directly from the first round of arguments in the debate. The book was designed page by page, with no intended visual outcome. As this issue is a convoluted and somewhat confusing one, I wanted to create illustrations and text divisions that emphasized and highlighted each point without taking sides in the debate. This method of design makes the book and topic as accesible to someone with no firearms experience as it is for someone knowledgeable about them.
